TERMS OF SALE
Trophies are sold 'as is', and all are in either brand new or used mint condition. All used trophies are examined and buyer advised before they are shipped.
Trophies are sold for your personal use/display in the privacy of your own home only. Trophies cannot be used for public display or for any public events such as fundraising, charity events, photo opportunities or media promotions. Trophies are strictly for private display only. Furthermore, these trophies are not suitable as awards for team sport as they are not designed for this purpose.
I do not offer discounts on multiple purchases. Each trophy has to be purchased and paid for in it's own right. Combined shipping is not possible with the larger full size trophies due to the size and weight involved. Some trophies are sold on behalf of fellow collectors and in this instance I have no say in the price. The web price is always the best price available. No further discount will be offered. These trophies are unique, rare, quality collectables. The price you see is the price you pay.
I accept payment via PayPal and bank transfer. PayPal/transaction fees apply and are added to the final amount. Items must be paid for in full before any order is processed or shipped. It is not possible to pay in instalments.
Please note that once an order is paid for it cannot be cancelled, irrespective of the reasons.
Delivery times are estimates only and are not set in stone.
Lead times (if applicable) can vary and are not set in stone, especially for bespoke or special orders where it is common for lead times having to be extended, and where flexibility and patience is required to deliver the end product. You will be advised of this when ordering.
When your item is shipped you will receive an email with the tracking details. You will also receive a pre-shipment QC (quality control) report. This report is basically a pre-shipment inspection to confirm that your trophy is in perfect condition before it is shipped to you.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
In the unlikely event that you find there is damage on receipt of delivery, it needs to be reported immediately, and within 24 hrs as per courier guidelines. Photographic evidence of the damage must be included. Most courier companies will not accept any claims for damages beyond the 24 hr window following delivery. Their rules, not mine.
If the outer packaging is visibly badly damaged on arrival, best practice is to either (a) request to open and examine the contents in the presence of the delivery driver before signing for it, or (b) refuse to sign for the package as it has arrived damaged.
Returns are dealt with on a case-by-case basis as it depends on what you have purchased, and what the perceived issue is. If for any reason you may want to return a trophy, you need to let me know within 24 hrs of delivery. If your return request is accepted, you then have seven days to return the trophy.
All costs and responsibility of returning the trophy must be borne by the buyer. All trophies must be returned to the address from which they came. It is recommended that all trophies be returned by recorded delivery, and be fully insured, through a professional courier service. The postal service is not recommended.
The trophy must be returned in original packaging, well packed and well protected with bubble wrap, filler etc. Ultimately the returns process is the buyers full responsibility and you must take all precautions to ensure that the item is returned to me in the same condition that you received it.
I do not offer returns on special order items, custom items or items that have been sourced specially for a person. You will need to re-sell these items yourself.
Refunds are offered minus any applicable shipping and PayPal/banking transaction fees. These fees are always non-refundable.
For any item returned in perfect condition, I will offer a full refund, minus the fees mentioned above. Any transaction/shipping fees incurred in the original transaction will be deducted from the full sale price, and details of these will be presented to the buyer if required.
IMPORT TAX and CUSTOMS DUTY
VAT and/or Customs Duty may be applicable on import and is not included in the price you pay or in any price quoted to you. These charges are levied by your local government (Revenue) and are usually collected from you by the courier company pre-delivery. We have no control over these charges, or the customs process, and they are solely your responsibility as the importer to pay.
We cannot predict whether you will be levied with these charges or calculate the amount for you, nor will we pay these charges for you or offer you a refund in lieu of same. However as a minimum you should be prepared to pay Import Tax at your local VAT rate. Please be aware of and allow for these charges before ordering.
Please be advised that should you fail to pay these charges or fail to take delivery of your order for whatever reason, and the package is returned to us, return shipping charges, duties and fees will be incurred. Therefore please note that any subsequent refund that may be paid to you will be made AFTER all shipping fees have been deducted. This includes deduction of the original shipping fees and also all fees incurred as a result of the package being returned to us. As shipping fees and charges for international delivery of large items are quite substantial, it is strongly advised that all customs duty and/or VAT charges are fully paid by you when requested.
