TERMS OF SALE
Trophies are sold as is, and all are in new or mint condition as I keep all of my trophies in glass cabinets and away from harm and direct sunlight. All trophies are examined before they are shipped and any imperfections will be advised to the buyer before shipment.
Please note that some imperfections are commonplace on hand made trophies and these often include very small surface scratches/blemishes, small tool marks on the source brass, weld/plating blemishes etc. These are not considered major imperfections and go with the territory of handmade silverware and brassware. These trophies are quality trophies made at an affordable price, however they are not 'Jewellers Finish' quality. Please be aware of this before you buy, and especially if you are starting out in trophy collecting. If you are looking for complete perfection it's unlikely you will find it unless you are prepared to fork out large four and five figure sums to have your trophies commissioned by the pros!
I do not offer discounts on multiple purchases. This isn't Tesco. Each trophy has to be purchased and paid for in it's own right. Combined shipping is not possible due to the size and weight of the trophies. Some trophies are sold on behalf of other collectors and in this instance I have no say in the price or discounts. The web price is always the best price available. No further discount will be offered. These trophies are unique, rare, quality collectables. The price is the price!
I accept PayPal but PayPal fees do apply. For the more expensive pieces these fees can end up being quite substantial. If you do not wish to pay via PayPal, please contact me for an offline payment method. Please note I cannot accept cheques or offline card payments.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
Damage in transit rarely happens but if you find there is damage on receipt of delivery, it needs to be reported immediately, and within 24hrs as per courier guidelines. Detailed photographic evidence of the damage must be included. Most courier companies will not accept any claims for damages beyond the 24hr window following delivery. Thankfully I have never had a trophy damaged in transit so far as any item I send is always well packaged and protected.
Returns are dealt with on a case by case basis as it depends on what you have purchased, and what the perceived issue is. If for any reason you may want to return a trophy, you need to let me know within 48hrs of delivery. If your return request is accepted, you then have seven days to return the trophy.
All costs and responsibility of returning the trophy must be borne by the buyer. It is recommended that all trophies be returned by recorded delivery, and fully insured, through a professional courier service. The postal service is not recommended.
The trophy must be returned in original packaging, well packed and well protected with bubble wrap, filler etc. Ultimately the returns process is the buyers full responsibility and you must take all precautions to ensure that the item is returned to me in the same condition that you received it.
I do not offer returns on special order items, or items that have been sourced specially for a person. You will need to re-sell these items yourself.
Refunds are offered minus any applicable shipping and PayPal/Banking transaction fees. Shipping fees are always non-refundable.
For any item returned in perfect condition, I will offer a full refund, minus the fees mentioned above. Any transaction fees incurred in the original transaction will be deducted from the full sale price, and details of these will be presented to the buyer if required.
