Premier League Replica Trophies

The FA Premier League trophy is the trophy awarded to the winners of England's top level football competition. There are 20 clubs in the Premier League who compete for the trophy from August to May each season.

The current Premier League trophy was created by Royal Jewellers Asprey of London. It weighs 4 st (25 kg; 56 lb), and is 76 cm (30 in) tall, 43 cm (17 in) wide and 25 cm (9.8 in) deep. Its main body is solid sterling silver and silver gilt.

Its plinth is made of malachite, a semi-precious stone and has a silver band around its circumference, upon which the names of the title-winning clubs are listed. Malachite's green colour is also representative of the green field of play.

Fun Fact: Man Utd have won the most Premier Leagues since its inception (13)

Fun Fact: No English manager has ever won a Premier League title.

The design of the trophy is based on the heraldry of Three Lions that is associated with English football. Two of the lions are found above the handles on either side of the trophy – the third is symbolised by the captain of the title winning team as he raises the trophy, and its gold crown, above his head at the end of the season.

The Premier League has been sponsored since 1993 but returned to being sponsorless in 2016. The sponsor has been able to determine the league's sponsorship name and has also had it's name embossed on the face of the trophy. There have been three sponsors since the league's formation.

1992-1993: No Sponsor
1993-2001: Carling (FA Carling Premiership)
2001-2004: Barclaycard (FA Barclaycard Premiership)
2004-2007: Barclays (FA Barclays Premiership)
2007-2016: Barclays (Barclays Premier League)
2016- : No Sponsor
